Years ago I bought my first house and was very proud of it. Little did I know that the house was poorly designed and had structural damages. I was aware of the structural damages and the engineer I hired told me that the damage is purely cosmetic.

Years later when we had to sell the house, we received rejection after rejection after buyers saw the damage we had ignored.

We never lost hope though. We knew just as we had at one point fallen in love with this house, someone else will too. We just have to wait for that one.

Within 2 months, the unsellable was sold for more than asking price.

Don't let rejections dishearten you. The best thing you can do to get hired is network.
